Message In my opinion, these purchased chips are just starting points as my experience of purchasing 3 different chips from 3 different vendors were all way too rich. I have the JECS 550cc pintle less one's and they flow somewhere between 580-632cc depending on the fuel pressure. I ended up purchasing a Eprom programmer and used TunerPro to tweak the k-value and latency to get it right.

You'll need to put your car on a wide band O2 and see the AFR to be sure what's going on. Assuming your car is running rich (my assumption), you'll have to adjust the k-value down until you hit the right k-value. Thats' basically the process of get the AFR or guess, pull the eprom, reprogram the k-value and rescale it, insert and repeat until you get it right. If you had the flow sheet I could help you with a calculated value that you could check to see what's set on the chip with the eprom programmer.

I thought it was plug and play the eprom when I first changed the injectors and found it's really something you have to tweak. My advice is take your car to a tuner shop and have them dial it in or you'll need to get a Eprom reprogrammer and do it yourself.
